Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is poised for an aggressive expansion in India, eyeing the country as one of its top growth markets globally. 

With over 50 new properties currently in the pipeline, the hospitality giant is not only looking to significantly increase its footprint but also plans to introduce more of its diverse global brands to the Indian market.

Currently operating more than 70 hotels across India, Wyndham is on track to surpass the 100-hotel mark in the near future. 

This robust growth is fueled by India's burgeoning domestic tourism, increasing disposable incomes, and continuous improvements in infrastructure. 

Company executives, including Dimitris Manikis, President for EMEA, and Rahool Macarius, Managing Director for Eurasia, have expressed strong confidence in India's potential to emerge as a leading global tourism destination.

"We've got such a great portfolio of brands that they fit with certain markets at a certain time. So yes, the answer is yes, we're going to bring more brands. But equally, we want to make sure that we grow the brands that we currently have in India," explained Manikis.
