Wheels India plans capital expenditure of Rs 250 crore

Manufacturing  -  May 21,2025  -

Wheels India has announced a substantial capital expenditure of Rs 250 crore for the current financial year.

A notable aspect of this investment is the strategic allocation of a significant portion towards the manufacturing of windmill components, clearly indicating a strong focus on capitalizing on the growth in the renewable energy sector.

This decision comes after the company reported a net profit of Rs105.9 crore in its recent financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.

While their revenues experienced a slight dip compared to the previous fiscal year, Managing Director Srivats Ram has conveyed a positive outlook for the company's future performance, particularly anticipating robust growth in their overseas business operations.

He also expressed confidence that the export initiatives undertaken over the past five years are expected to yield positive outcomes within the next three years, suggesting a promising trajectory for their international ventures.
