Welspun Corp has commenced commercial operations at its new ductile iron pipe manufacturing facility in Gujarat, expanding its manufacturing footprint in the infrastructure segment. 

The facility will cater to increasing demand from water supply, irrigation, sewage, and urban infrastructure projects across India. 

With governments at both central and state levels prioritising water security and urban development, demand for high-quality piping solutions is expected to remain strong. 

The new plant enhances Welspun’s capacity to execute large domestic and export orders efficiently. 

It also supports localisation and value addition within India’s infrastructure supply chain.
