Trident Group has announced a Rs. 2,000 crore investment to scale production capacity in Punjab, focused on textiles and related processing units. 

The expansion aims to strengthen the company’s export competitiveness through upgraded machinery and backwardintegration initiatives that lower input costs. 

Job creation and enhanced local supplier linkages are central to the plan.

The investment aligns with rising global demand for sustainably produced textiles and may include projects to improve energy efficiency and water recycling in processing plants. 

Regional incentives and clusterlevel infrastructure could accelerate commissioning and export rampup.
