Tender floated for 132/33 kV GSS Roh and transmission lines project in Bihar

The Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL) has floated a tender for a significant power infrastructure project in the state. 

This project, with an estimated value of Rs 164.34 crore, aims to enhance power distribution and transmission, ensuring improved electricity access and reliability across the region.

The scope of work for the project includes:

1) Construction of a 2x80 MVA 132/33 kV GSS (Grid Substation) at Roh, located in Pakribarawan, Nawada district. This substation will be crucial for managing and distributing power in the area.

2) Construction of two 132 kV GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) Line Bays at the existing GIS Narhat (BGCL). These bays will integrate the new GSS Roh with the broader transmission network.

This project is part of Bihar's ongoing efforts to strengthen its power transmission system. The bid submission deadline for this tender is July 25, 2025.
