IRCON-JPWIPL JV secures Rs 755.78 crore railway contract

IRCON International Limited, in a joint venture (JV) with J.P.W.I.P.L. (JPWIPL), has secured a significant railway contract valued at Rs 755.78 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).

This contract is for the construction of a new broad-gauge railway line in the Indore-Budni section of the Bhopal Division, West Central Railway, in Madhya Pradesh. 

Specifically, it covers the stretch between Pipaliya Nankar (excluding) and Budni (including) stations.

IRCON holds a 70% share in the joint venture, while JPWIPL holds the remaining 30%. IRCON's share of the contract value amounts to approximately Rs 529.05 crore (including GST).

This project is a significant addition to IRCON's robust order book and further strengthens its presence in large-scale railway infrastructure development across India.
