Shivtek Spechemi Industries, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, has acquired an 8-acre land parcel from Bodal Chemicals in Rajpura, Punjab. Shivtek will invest Rs 50 crore to establish a new specialty chemical plant in two phases. 

The new facility will be located adjacent to Bodal's existing plant, allowing for a direct chlorine pipeline supply. 

This strategic move is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency, improve operational safety, and reduce carbon emissions. 

The plant will focus on producing chlorinated paraffin, chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), and green plasticizers.
