Hindustan Power has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) for a 435 MW direct current (DC) solar project. 

The project, awarded through a competitive bidding process, will supply clean power to the state for 25 years. 

This initiative is a major contribution to the Uttar Pradesh government's goal of achieving 22,000 MW of clean energy capacity by FY27. 

The company has already commenced on-ground operations to ensure a seamless and timely execution of the project.
