Power Generation  -  Jun 11,2025  -

SEPC, which used to be called as Shriram EPC, has won a contract from Parmeshi Urja, Kolkata, for a huge solar power project in Maharashtra.

The contract is worth Rs 650 crore and is for building a 133 MW AC solar power project.

SEPC will be in charge of everything from engineering to buying materials and building the project. This will happen across 26 different locations in four districts.

SEPC officially received the letter for this work on the evening of June 10, 2025. The exact timeline for the work will be decided during upcoming meetings at each project site.

This large solar project is a significant win for SEPC. It fits well with India's goals for clean energy and SEPC's own focus on building renewable energy facilities.
