Safran teams up with Maini Precision for aircraft engine parts

Infrastructure  -  Jun 24,2025  -

Safran Aircraft Engines, a major French aerospace company, has signed a five-year agreement with Maini Precision Products (MPPL), a part of Raymond, to make machine-built parts for the CFM LEAP engine's combustors. These engines are used in popular single-aisle commercial planes like the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX.

The agreement was signed at the Paris Air Show 2025 by key executives from both companies. This partnership shows a growing trust and further expands Safran's manufacturing presence in India, bringing Indian suppliers more into the global aircraft parts supply chain.

According to Safran, this deal aims to meet the increasing worldwide demand for LEAP engines, which are known for using less fuel and producing fewer harmful gases. The partnership highlights India's growing importance in making high-precision aircraft parts and strengthens Safran's ability to get parts for its engines in the long term
