Digital Connexion, the joint venture between Reliance, Brookfield and Digital Realty, will invest Rs. 98,000 crore to build a 1 GW AI-ready data centre cluster in Visakhapatnam. 

The project includes a 400-acre hyperscale campus expected to be completed in phases by 2030, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a major digital infrastructure destination. 

The investment aligns with India’s growing demand for cloud, AI and high-performance computing capacity. 

This is among the largest single data-centre commitments in the country and reflects the rising strategic importance of AI infrastructure. 

The development is expected to attract technology partners and stimulate local job creation in data services and allied sectors.
