Metallurgical Industries  -  Mar 10,2026  -

Ramkrishna Forgings Limited has commissioned a new 8,000-ton hot forging press line at its manufacturing facility in Jharkhand to strengthen its heavy-duty forging capabilities.

The installation adds around 40,000 tonnes per annum of additional forging capacity, increasing the company’s total forging capacity to about 311,400 tonnes annually.

The advanced press line is equipped with automated systems, precision temperature control, and energy-efficient technologies to enhance production efficiency and product consistency.

The facility will support manufacturing of critical components such as axle parts, crankshafts, and connecting rods used in commercial vehicles, railways, mining equipment, and industrial machinery.

The commissioning marks a significant milestone in the company’s capacity expansion strategy aimed at meeting rising global demand for forged components.
