Quality Power Electrical Equipments has announced the opening of its new and advanced Global Coil Factory in Kupwad MIDC, Sangli.

This is a major step that aligns with the company's plans, which were discussed during their Board meeting and recent financial updates.

The opening of this new factory is a significant move for Quality Power as it expands to meet the growing worldwide demand for high-voltage reactors and coil-based parts. These parts are used in important power systems like HVDC, STATCOM, and FACTS.

The new facility is planned to be one of the largest factories in the world for producing air-core and oil-filled reactors. It will have 44 modern winding lines and a top-notch laboratory for testing high-voltage equipment.

Quality Power is also committed to being environmentally friendly. The factory is being built to meet the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Platinum certification, which means it will be one of the most environmentally responsible manufacturing sites globally.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Bharanidharan Pandyan, the Joint Managing Director, spoke about how important this factory will be for supporting efforts to improve power grids around the world. He also repeated the company's promise to finish the project ahead of time and to the highest international quality standards.
