Premier Energies has announced plans to add 7.4 GW of solar cell capacity and 6 GW of module capacity annually, supported by a capex outlay of Rs. 11,000 crore. 

The expansion is aligned with India’s push for end-to-end solar manufacturing under domestic incentive schemes. 

By scaling both cells and modules, the company aims to improve integration, pricing power, and execution timelines. 

The move also positions Premier Energies to benefit from rising utility-scale tenders and growing corporate renewable procurement. 

Over the medium term, the capacity addition could materially lift revenues and operating leverage.
