Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said the government is aiming to increase milk production by up to 20 per cent through targeted interventions across the dairy value chain. 

The strategy includes strengthening veterinary services, expanding artificial insemination coverage, and improving cattle feed and breed quality. 

Greater emphasis is being placed on modernising dairy cooperatives and encouraging private sector participation. 

The initiative is expected to enhance farmer incomes and productivity. 

It also aims to ensure long-term supply stability to meet rising demand from the food processing and consumer dairy sectors.
