PNC Infratech emerges as lowest bidder for Rs 297 crore Varanasi airport upgrade

PNC Infratech has been declared the Lowest Bidder (L1) by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for a Rs 297.01 crore project to upgrade the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. 

The contract, excluding GST, involves the extension and re-carpeting of the existing runway, along with other allied works. 

The project has a completion timeline of 18 months and is a key infrastructure development to enhance the airport's capacity and safety.

This win further strengthens PNC Infratech's position in the aviation infrastructure sector and adds to its robust order book, which as of a recent report, stood at over Rs 17,000 crore.
