India's leading carbon black producer, PCBL Chemical Ltd., is undertaking a significant expansion with a new greenfield plant in Andhra Pradesh. 

The company has acquired 116 acres of land in Naidupeta for its sixth manufacturing facility, which will have a total capacity of up to 450,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA).

This expansion is a key part of the company's "Vision 2030," which aims to double its revenue to Rs 16,000 crore. 

The new facility will allow PCBL to meet growing demand and invest in next-generation chemistries, including super-conductive carbons and nano silicon, which are crucial for the battery chemicals sector.
