Ceigall India enters renewable energy with 337 MW solar project

Power Generation  -  Sep 09,2025  -

Infrastructure EPC firm Ceigall India has announced its foray into the green energy sector after receiving two Letters of Intent (LoIs) for the procurement of 337 MW of solar power from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL).

The projects, sanctioned under the flagship 'Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0,' will involve setting up grid-connected solar power plants at multiple locations across Maharashtra.

This diversification aligns with India's clean energy goals and positions the company to capture new opportunities in the rapidly growing renewable energy market.

Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ceigall India, stated that this marks a strategic shift for the company, which has been traditionally focused on building roads, bridges, and flyovers.
