The Directorate of Medical Education, Training & Research (DMETR) of Arunachal Pradesh has invited bids for a landmark Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project to establish a 100-seat medical college. 

The project will also include the augmentation of a 100-bed district hospital to meet National Medical Commission (NMC) standards.

This initiative is aimed at addressing the shortage of medical professionals and improving healthcare infrastructure in the state. 

The project, which is part of the Aspirational District Programme, has an estimated cost of Rs 375 crore and will grant the private partner the responsibility to design, build, finance, and operate the facilities before eventually transferring them to the state. The deadline for bids is November 5, 2025.
