NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has awarded an EPC contract for a 300 MW solar project at NTPC’s Anta site in Rajasthan.

The project forms part of NTPC’s broader renewable energy expansion programme aimed at scaling solar capacity across India.

Officials said the project will contribute to clean power generation and help meet the country’s renewable energy targets.

The solar installation will be developed with associated transmission infrastructure.

Construction activities will commence following site preparation and project mobilisation.
