NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from developers for establishing green chemical projects at the Pudimadaka Green Hydrogen Hub. 

This hub, for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone in early 2025, is poised to be one of India's largest integrated green hydrogen facilities.

The complete project involves a total investment of Rs 1.85 lakh crore and is designed to produce 1,500 tonnes per day (TPD) of green hydrogen and 7,500 TPD of derivatives, including Green Methanol, Green Urea, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel. 

The hub, spread over 1,600 acres, is strategically focused on the export market and includes the development of a transmission corridor, a 7 GW substation, and an 80 MLD desalination plant, with completion targeted for 2032.
