NHAI floats Rs. 8,532 crore tenders for 6-lane Regional Ring Road (North Hyderabad)

Infrastructure  -  Dec 02,2025  -

NHAI has invited tenders worth Rs. 8,532 crore to build the northern section of Hyderabad’s Regional Ring Road as a 6-lane access-controlled corridor.

The project spans nearly 158 km and is designed to decongest Hyderabad by diverting long-distance freight away from urban roads. It will also improve regional connectivity between Sangareddy, Yadadri-Bhongir, Medak and nearby districts.

The RRR is envisioned as a transformative infrastructure initiative, enabling large-scale logistics parks, industrial clusters and real estate development along its alignment.

Once completed, the corridor is expected to significantly reduce travel time for inter-district movement and support Hyderabad’s position as a major economic hub. The project is also aligned with broader central-state efforts to strengthen Telangana’s highway network.
