The Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) has invited bids to build a new, controlled-access highway connecting Ujjain and Jaora in Madhya Pradesh. The work also includes a special connecting road to Ujjain.

The highway will be a four-lane road with paved shoulders and will be built using a "hybrid annuity model" (HAM). The project covers a design length of 98.73 kilometers and is estimated to cost around Rs 2,418.47 crore. The chosen company will have 24 months to complete the work.

The last day to submit bids is July 24, 2025, and the technical bids are planned to be opened on July 25, 2025.
