MoRTH floats tender for Karauli bypass construction on NH-23

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has floated a tender for the construction of a two-lane with paved shoulders configuration of the Karauli Bypass on National Highway 23 (NH-23) under the Annual Plan 2024–25.

The work, to be executed in Rajasthan on EPC mode, is valued at Rs 272.68 crore. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive rehabilitation, upgradation, and augmentation of the existing carriageway for a length of 14.331 km. 

This includes new pavement construction, development of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, RCC drains with RCC covers, and other related civil infrastructure components.

The total construction period allocated is 48 months. Following completion, maintenance work including defect liability period will span five years. The bid submission deadline is 02 June 2025.
