Mormugao Port Authority has sought Rs. 1,300 crore for redevelopment of Berth 9.

The project aims to modernise cargo handling infrastructure at the port. Redevelopment will improve operational efficiency and capacity.

The proposal includes upgrading marine and landside facilities. Funding will be arranged through approved financing channels.
