MEDAS EnggDesign Pvt. Ltd. (MEDAS) has secured a significant contract to build Maharashtra's largest multi-feed ethanol plant for NSL Sugars Ltd. 

The new facility, located at the Jay Mahesh Unit in Mazalgaon, will have a capacity of 500,000 liters per day and will produce fuel-grade ethanol from both sugarcane syrup and grains. 

This project aligns with the Government of India’s National Biofuel Policy and is designed to be highly energy-efficient, utilizing low-pressure distillation and a vapor-based evaporation system to minimize energy consumption and maximize output. 

The contract reinforces MEDAS's expertise in providing turnkey solutions for the distillery industry.
