The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is fast-tracking the development of its fifth Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste processing plant at Tehkhand to address the city’s rising debris management needs. 

Spanning seven acres, the plant will initially process 1,000 tonnes per day (TPD) before scaling to 2,000 TPD, utilizing advanced computerized log washers to recycle waste into reusable aggregates for the construction sector. 

By increasing Delhi’s total processing capacity to 6,000 TPD, the facility plays a vital role in curbing dust pollution and meeting stricter environmental compliance mandates under the "Waste-to-Wealth" mission.
