Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has officially announced its entry into the premium Chennai healthcare market by signing a long-term lease for a 1.168-acre site at Raja Annamalai Puram. 

The group plans to invest approximately Rs 300 crore to establish a 300-bed super-speciality facility focused on high-end quaternary care, including organ transplantation, robotic oncology, and advanced cardiology. 

This strategic expansion is designed to tap into Chennai’s status as a global medical tourism hub and its growing demand for complex tertiary services, with the project slated for completion within 36 months.
