OnePlus, the global consumer electronics brand, has announced that it will begin manufacturing its premium tablet range in India. 

The company will partner with local electronics manufacturing services providers to produce these devices for both domestic sales and export markets. 

The move comes amid growing momentum under the ‘Make in India’ and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, which are attracting global technology brands to localise production. 

With rising demand for high-performance tablets among professionals, students, and entertainment users, OnePlus aims to tap into India’s large consumer base while reducing dependence on imports. 

The initiative also underscores India’s emerging role as a competitive hub for high-value electronics manufacturing.
