Lords Chloro Alkali increases CPW manufacturing capacity

Manufacturing  -  Jun 19,2025  -

Lords Chloro Alkali, a well-known chemical maker in India, has announced that it has doubled its capacity to make chlorinated paraffin wax (CPW). They can now make 100 tonnes per day (TPD), up from 50 TPD. The company's factory is located on 84 acres in Matsya Industrial Area, Alwar, Rajasthan.

The factory can produce 300 tonnes of caustic soda per day and had already increased its CPW capacity to 50 TPD earlier this year. Lords Chloro Alkali also owns a 16 MW solar power farm on 45 acres in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The Managing Director, Ajay Virmani, said about the expansion, "We are happy to share that we've increased our CPW making capacity from 50 TPD to 100 TPD. This is a big step towards making our product range stronger and taking advantage of new opportunities in the chemical industry."

With 80 percent of its current capacity being used, the company expects the new capacity to make their operations more efficient and improve their results from the financial year 2026–27. Started in 1979, the company is known for making various chemicals, including caustic soda lye, sodium hypo, hydrogen gas, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid (HCL), and CPW.
