KPI Green Energy has secured an engineering and construction order worth Rs. 128 crore from NTPC for a green hydrogen project, marking its entry into India’s fast-evolving hydrogen economy. 

The project forms part of NTPC’s national green hydrogen roadmap and supports India’s decarbonisation objectives across power and industrial sectors. KPI’s involvement strengthens its renewable portfolio and diversifies revenue streams beyond solar and wind generation. 

The order also enhances the company’s technological credentials in next-generation clean energy solutions.

This contract reflects rising public-sector investment momentum in hydrogen infrastructure and positions KPI to capture long-term opportunities in the emerging hydrogen value chain.
