KP Energy Ltd and Inox Wind Ltd ink MoU to jointly develop 2.5 GW of wind / hybrid projects

Power Generation  -  Nov 20,2025  -

KP Energy Ltd (KPE) and Inox Wind Limited (IWL) have signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects across multiple Indian states.

Under the deal, Inox Wind (and its subsidiaries) will supply wind-turbine generators, provide engineering expertise (including foundation design, transformer specs and USS design), and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning and O&M for turbines.

KP Energy, on the other hand, will take responsibility for project development — securing land, right-of-way, grid connectivity, statutory approvals — as well as balance-of-plant EPC work and long-term O&M for the infrastructure they build.

The collaboration is being framed as a “synergy play” where Inox’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities combine with KP Energy’s on-ground execution strength, enabling both companies to scale up in the large-scale renewable-asset space.
