ACME Solar commissions second phase of additional 16 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat

ACME Solar Holdings has added an extra 16 MW to its 100 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, taking the operational capacity of the project to 44 MW across the first two phases.

The project is financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and uses 4 MW turbines from SANY, while the power will be sold under a 25-year PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.

Although the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) extended the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) to 5 March 2026, ACME Solar has managed to commission part capacity early, strengthening its generation profile.

This commissioning increases ACME Solar’s total operational renewable capacity to 2,934 MW, reinforcing its position as a major integrated clean-energy player.
