KNY Projects and Electrotech to develop 200 MW solar power capacity

Power Generation  -  Sep 04,2025  -

KNY Projects and Electrotech have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and commission up to 200 MW of solar power plants across India.

The collaboration aims to accelerate the country's transition to renewable energy.

Under the agreement, KNY Projects will serve as the independent power producer (IPP), overseeing project development and execution, while Electrotech will supply critical components, including advanced solar modules and inverters.

The projects are planned for three states: Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

The plants are expected to be commissioned within the next 18-24 months and will generate over 360 million kilowatt-hours annually, contributing to India's ambitious target of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
