KIMS Hospitals has secured a long-term land lease in Chennai to develop a Rs.300-crore super-speciality hospital, strengthening its footprint in Tamil Nadu’s healthcare market. 

The proposed facility will focus on advanced tertiary care services and is expected to cater to rising demand for specialised treatment in the Chennai metropolitan region. 

The hospital is likely to offer high-end services across cardiology, oncology, neurology and organ transplantation. 

This expansion aligns with KIMS’ strategy of scaling premium clinical infrastructure in high-density urban centres. 

The project also reflects growing private investment in healthcare driven by medical tourism, rising insurance penetration, and increasing urban healthcare needs.
