Kamat Hotels has opened a new 70-key Orchid eco-luxury hotel in Panchgani, Maharashtra, as part of its expansion into India’s premium leisure market. 

The property includes 47 rooms and 23 luxury tent accommodations, designed to integrate sustainability with modern comfort. It offers facilities such as a multi-cuisine restaurant, banquet halls, a wellness center, and a swimming pool.

Positioned as a nature-centric destination, the Orchid Panchgani aims to attract both leisure travelers and corporate groups seeking eco-friendly retreats. 

The launch reinforces Kamat Hotels’ leadership in sustainable hospitality, building on its legacy as the pioneer of Asia’s first five-star ecotel brand. 

With growing demand for experiential and environmentally conscious tourism, the new property is expected to strengthen the group’s presence in India’s competitive luxury hospitality segment.
