K2 Ethanol Pvt. Ltd, a leading player in bioenergy and animal-feed solutions, has partnered with Austrian engineering group Andritz to build state-of-the-art feed-production plants across India. 

The agreement involves deployment of European technology for high-efficiency feed and biofuel processing.

The collaboration aims to bridge the technology gap in India’s bio-based industries by integrating sustainable feedstock management with energy-efficient production systems. Andritz’s process expertise will enable K2 to produce superior quality feed while minimizing waste and carbon footprint.

This partnership supports India’s National Biofuel Policy, which encourages circular use of agricultural residues and by-products. It also strengthens the country’s emerging ethanol ecosystem, which is expected to reach 20% blending by 2025.

By combining Andritz’s global engineering experience with K2’s local presence, the venture is set to boost India’s feed and bioenergy manufacturing capacity and enhance rural income opportunities through decentralized production models.
