JK Lakshmi Cement Limited has been declared the preferred bidder for a limestone block in Assam.

The resource will support the company’s raw material requirements for cement manufacturing.

Officials said securing the block will strengthen the company’s long-term supply of limestone.

The move aligns with JK Lakshmi Cement’s strategy to expand its presence in eastern and northeastern markets.

Mining operations will commence after regulatory approvals and development of the block.
