JK Cement Ltd has been declared the "Preferred Bidder" for the Parewar SN-III Limestone Block in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan. 

The announcement follows a forward e-auction conducted by the Government of Rajasthan's Department of Mines & Geology on July 3, 2025, where JK Cement submitted the highest final price offer of 43.75%.

This strategic acquisition is a significant boost for JK Cement, securing long-term raw material reserves essential for cement production. The limestone block, spanning 928.00 hectares, boasts substantial estimated resources, including 196.18 million tonnes of cement grade limestone and 11.10 million tonnes of SMS grade limestone.

The presence of both cement grade and SMS grade limestone indicates the versatility of the block, potentially allowing for diverse applications.

Furthermore, Rajasthan's proximity to key markets in North India offers geographical advantages, potentially optimizing logistics and distribution costs for the company.
