The new manufacturing plant of US-based electronics company Jabil in Sanand, Gujarat, is almost finished. This was confirmed by Union Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Jabil is making a large investment of over Rs 20 billion (approximately US$238 million) in this new facility. 

The completion of the Sanand plant is a significant step in Jabil's plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities.

This development highlights India's growing importance as a global manufacturing hub, particularly in the electronics sector, attracting major international players to set up production facilities in the country.
