ITC Hotels has announced the grand opening of its newest property, 'Welcomhotel Prayagraj,' in the culturally and spiritually significant city of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. 

This launch, unveiled on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, marks a significant expansion for ITC Hotels in North India and is its seventh operational property in the state.

The Welcomhotel Prayagraj, operating under a management contract as part of ITC Hotels' "asset-right" strategy, aims to blend the city's rich heritage with contemporary hospitality. 

The hotel is strategically located in Civil Lines, on Tashkent Marg, offering convenient access to the city's key attractions, including the revered Triveni Sangam and Allahabad Fort.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Ltd, expressed immense pride in the launch, highlighting its role in fortifying ITC Hotels' presence in Uttar Pradesh and underscoring their dedication to crafting unique and immersive hospitality experiences. 

J.K. Agrawal from the Owning Board also commented that the project combines their vision for the city with ITC Hotels' expertise, aiming to contribute meaningfully to the local community and economy.
