Insolare Energy has won a significant project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to develop a large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS), marking a major milestone in India’s journey toward grid stability and renewable integration. 

The BESS project will enable better management of intermittent solar and wind power, improving grid reliability and optimizing energy dispatch. 

Insolare’s participation in this project highlights the growing role of Indian firms in advanced energy storage technologies—a critical component of India’s 500 GW renewable energy target. 

The project will also help utilities reduce reliance on fossil fuel-based peaking power, advancing the nation’s clean energy transition.
