A joint venture (JV) led by Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd. has secured a substantial Rs 395.5 crore (excluding taxes) pollution control project from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

This crucial initiative is aimed at upgrading common effluent treatment plants (CETPs) in the Kolhapur district, specifically targeting the pollution of the Panchganga River.

The JV, named "Enviro Infra Engineers Limited AIEPL JV," with Enviro Infra Engineers as the lead partner and AltoraPro Infrastructure Private Limited as the other member, received the Letter of Intent (LoI) on July 8, 2025.

The project's primary objective is the upgradation of existing CETPs with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems.

This advanced technology ensures that no liquid waste is discharged into the environment, promoting water reuse and recycling.
