Eisai Pharma has announced its strategic decision to establish a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Visakhapatnam. 

This move signifies a significant expansion of the company's digital transformation and innovation footprint within India, further solidifying Visakhapatnam's growing reputation as a hub for the life sciences and technology sectors.

The announcement was made by Makoto Haketsu, Global Chief Information Officer of Eisai Pharma, during his visit to GITAM Deemed to be University. 

Haketsu, accompanied by his core technical team, held discussions with Visakhapatnam Member of Parliament and GITAM President M. Sribharat, among other senior university officials.

Haketsu emphasised Eisai Pharma's commitment to accelerating its digital transformation efforts, highlighting the strong support received from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone (VSEZ). 

"By bringing together exceptional digital talent, we aim to drive cutting-edge solutions that redefine how healthcare meets evolving needs," he stated.
