Dixon Technologies bags 22.5 acres in YEIDA’s Electronics Manufacturing Cluster

Manufacturing  -  Jun 23,2025  -

Dixon Technologies is the third company to get land in the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Sector 10.

This area was set up by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) near the new Noida International Airport.

The company has been given an official letter for 22.5 acres of land. They plan to build factories there to make mobile phones, electronics for homes, telecom equipment, lighting, and large appliances like refrigerators.

YEIDA has given initial approval for this plan. Now, it needs final approval from the Invest UP Empowered Committee. It also has to follow state rules and policies.

Arun Vir Singh, the CEO of YEIDA, said, "With Dixon coming in, this area is expected to become a major place for making electronics in northern India. It will bring in money and create jobs."

The electronics hub in Sector 10 is part of the government's EMC 2.0 plan. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) gave its initial approval for it on April 11.
