Industrial Products  -  Jun 23,2025  -

The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has approved plans for new projects worth Rs 28,546 crore.

This happened at the 7th meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) and is seen as a big help for industrial growth in the state.

These 19 approved projects are expected to create more than 30,000 jobs across the state.

With these new approvals, the total money approved for projects under the Naidu government has now reached Rs 5.34 lakh crore. These projects are expected to create about 4.73 lakh jobs from all seven SIPB meetings held so far.

The approved projects are in important areas like information technology, renewable energy, manufacturing, and hotels. Big companies like Cognizant, Adani Energy, Raymond, and Reliance are among the investors. This shows that businesses have a lot of trust in Andhra Pradesh's growth.

Among the major investments, Cognizant will build a modern IT center in Visakhapatnam. This will cost Rs 1,582 crore and create 8,000 jobs.

Raymond's plan for Rs 1,202 crore will create 6,571 jobs. This follows earlier talks between IT Minister Nara Lokesh and Raymond Chairman Gautam Hari Singhania.
