Dilip Buildcon has secured a Rs. 5,000 crore contract from NALCO to undertake infrastructure works linked to a long-term bauxite mining and associated services project, underlining the construction player’s strength in large, resource-linked civil contracts. 

The award spans mining-support infrastructure and suggests multi-year revenue visibility for the contractor, while supporting NALCO’s resource security strategy. 

For the broader mining and construction sectors, the contract reaffirms continued public sector capital spending on raw-material access and logistics.

Industry analysts note that the contract aligns with the company’s strategy of targeting longduration EPC assignments that stabilise cash flows 

The project also reflects NALCO’s capitalintensive push to maintain ore supply for its refining and smelting operations.
