Ceigall India has obtained a Letter of Intent to develop the Velgaon substation, an order that underlines the company’s growing footprint in transmission and grid infrastructure. 

Substation projects like this are central to grid modernisation and integration of renewable capacity, and they typically include equipment supply, civil works and testing.

For investors and utilities, the LoI enhances order-book visibility and highlights the push to upgrade transmission networks to support electrification and energy transition goals.

The substation is expected to support increased renewable penetration in Maharashtra, where peakdemand management has become a priority. 

Successful execution could strengthen Ceigall’s credentials for future highvoltage grid packages across western India.
