DENSO to invest Rs 250 crore in electric vehicle component plant in Noida

DENSO Corporation, an automotive innovation company from Japan, is set to invest Rs 250 crore to establish a new motor generator manufacturing plant in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. 

This strategic investment highlights DENSO's commitment to sustainable mobility and the burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) sector in India.


The new facility will focus on producing motor generators, essential components for hybrid and electric vehicles. This development is a significant step towards strengthening Indo-Japanese industrial relations and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key hub for green investments.

The announcement followed strategic discussions between DENSO leadership and a delegation from Uttar Pradesh, led by Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary (Infrastructure & Industrial Development), and senior officials from Invest UP. 

These discussions took place at DENSO's global headquarters in Kariya, Aichi, Japan. The Uttar Pradesh delegation emphasized the state's skilled workforce, pro-business policies, and rapidly evolving EV ecosystem, which continues to attract global attention.
