US-based Collins Aerospace, a unit of RTX Corporation, has invested $100 million (≈₹830 crore) to set up a new advanced-manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. 

The plant will produce precision components for commercial and defence aircraft, serving global customers including Boeing and Airbus. Karnataka’s strong engineering talent pool and aerospace ecosystem have made it a preferred location for foreign OEMs. 

The investment further consolidates India’s growing role in global aerospace supply chains and supports the government’s goal of boosting aerospace exports under the “Make in India for the World” strategy.
